**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Quality Assurance / Quality Control Supervisor** for our client who is a line of high-performance skin care and cosmetics.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop, review/assess, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other documentation and training materials related to GMP compliance and other applicable requirements.
- Assist with managing the Quality Inspection program and work closely with the Supply Chain team on the quality inspections requirements for the product
- Review product documentation, laboratory testing documentation, and packaging for compliance with regulatory and business requirements
- Identify and inspect product/packaging non-conformances, investigate, communicate non-conformance information to Vendors and Quality team, provide guidance on regulations, provide documentation/reports, and follow up on action items until completion
- Support the execution of product holds/releases or recall actions or product in quarantine and facilitate Health Canada reporting, as appropriate to the situation
- Perform Certificate of Analysis and review any applicable lab/batch records required to ensure product quality is maintained
- Manage quality and regulatory compliance with Health Canada regulations and customer requirements for Natural Health Products and Cosmetic Products
- Handle Health Canada regulatory audits and customer quality audits
- Manage or support internal audits, including planning, preparing/reviewing/finalizing internal audit reports, and ensuring proper closure of any observations.
- Ensure the maintenance of PMs and facility licenses on regular basis
- Participate in company and departmental process improvement initiatives and recommend suggestions to improve the QMS.
- Coordinate the preparation of validation reports
- Ability to utilize laboratory analysis skills i.e. titration, refractive index, specific gravity, melting point, microbial testing and chromatography
- Perform other QC functions according to Inter Cosmetiques quality standards
- Perform other related assignments and duties as required and assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree of Science preferred in Chemistry or equivalent
- **At least 1years experience in a cosmetics industry**:

- Thorough knowledge of GMPs/GLPs and regulatory requirements is essential
- Extensive working knowledge and experience with a document control system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Must be able to work independently and interact effectively with others from a variety of positions and backgrounds
- Ability to effectively multi-task and deal with changing priorities, problem solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
