**Overview**

**General Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Willingness to do out of town projects
- Proficient management of all aspects of construction site activities including: project planning, scheduling, cost control and ordering materials
- Supervise daily operations and labor on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize construction management software.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control measures.
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and team members, regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Ensure the health and safety program is followed on site
- Prepare timely reports as required, on project progress, challenges, and solutions for upper management review.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Minimum of 5 years in the role of supervising concrete formwork projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Experience in Bridges and Overpasses, Water and Wastewater building infrastructure or general heavy civil concrete work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with construction best practices.
- Competent using computers and construction management software.
- Experience with quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively. Ability to lead and work as part of a team - inspire team work. Ability to create an equitable, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
- Ability to receive feedback gracefully and give feedback effectively.
