**Primary Purpose**

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, this position ensures the correct mix of resources (driver, equipment, safety, etc.) for the efficient delivery of product, maximizing assets, while minimizing distribution costs

An in-depth knowledge of operations, driver interface, customer service, equipment specifications, costs, and governmental rules and regulations are essential for the successful implementation of logistics plans.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Preparing, maintaining, evaluating, and updating daily vehicle routes to ensure productive delivery of our products to our customers.
- Prioritizing new customer set-ups, off-schedule or emergency deliveries, and technical service calls.
- Coordinating alternate delivery dates with customers when required and assisting drivers with in-field problem resolution.
- Assisting with the management of distribution costs
- Playing a key role in safety leadership.
- Work closely with Homecare Service Representatives (drivers) and the customer service team to ensure timely deliveries to customers in a safe, and efficient manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required. Must also be efficient with Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of regulatory paperwork, including TDG, Vehicle Inspection Reports, Hours of Service, and quality assurance documents.
- All employees of Linde Canada Inc. are expected to follow Company and departmental safety policies, procedures and work practices at all times. Employees are also responsible for the completion of all safety training, as assigned. Employees with staff supervision and/or management responsibilities will ensure that assigned staff abide by the above, and actively identify, assess and correct safety hazards, as required._

**Required Qualifications**

**Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Degree/Diploma or Logistics experience is an asset

**Experience**
- Experience with digital logistics systems is an asset.
- 3 years valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 1-year experience driving with similar type vehicle preferred
- 1-year experience working in a customer service environment

- Must comply with internal policies, procedures, and Government regulations
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 75 pounds
