The Dispatch Coordinator focuses on the deliveries and scheduling of trucks or tankers to ensure that proper deliveries are received and delivered on time.
Process customer orders and respond to service complaints and customer inquiries. This involves working in conjunction with Customer Service to resolve customer complaints with mínimal impact on their business.
Assist existing and potential customers in establishing delivery schedules best suited to their needs.
Work with sales representatives, distribution (including bulk distributors), and the Sales Manager to find tailor-made solutions for storage and deliveries to customers.
Implement and manage a process to handle small equipment returns with customers and coordinate with Purchasing.
Administer the coordination of bulk delivery slips with Accounting and Customer Service by providing backup to the freight and invoice process.
Update customer contracts and price books for regional customers on a monthly basis using the NOLA index.
Create the tanker schedule for the bulk delivery of products. Forecast and monitor stock levels for the Central Region.
Coordinate the preparation of contract agreements for existing customers. Set up new customers through the Quick Connect Form.
Supply management with reports on customer needs and problems.
Identify and evaluate new opportunities that will culminate in profitable business for the company.
Research sources (internet, trade associations, and current customer base) for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Prepare written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Develop relationships with new and existing customers by introducing new products and pricing.
Work closely with the Sales team to identify and evaluate new opportunities that will culminate in profitable business for the company.
Meet with customers to identify, secure, and set up third-party bulk delivery contracts through our distribution network.
Strengthen the Recochem brand across all segments of business by providing information to existing and potential customers on products and customer inquiries. This involves working in conjunction with Customer Service to resolve customer complaints with mínimal impact on their business.
**Skills Required**:
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to produce diverse reports in a concise fashion.
Able to establish and maintain internal and external customer relations.
Strong customer service skills.
**Computer skills**: Word, Excel, ERP Systems, AS400, Browser.
**Work Arrangement**:
This position is a hybrid role, requiring three days a week in the office.
