- Some benefits have eligibility requirements of surpassing three (3) months and securing a regular position of 20hrs/week or more. The benefits and criteria may change from time to time at the discretion of Strive.

The program provides both community-based and home-based activities, including social, recreational, vocational, daily living skills, skill development and leisure recreation activities within a supported environment. Program and activity schedules are created to reflect the needs, preferences, and goals of each individual.

**Job Duties Include but not limited to**:

- Knowledge and experience working with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health and behaviours
- Ability to create a meaningful routine
- Knowledgeable of creating independence vs. creating dependence
- Following health care plans*
- Completing daily documentation
- Implementing personal protocols, schedules, and activities
- Knowledge and experience with community integration and teaching life skills

**Job Qualifications Include**:

- Class 4 or 5 BC Driver’s License preferred and clean driver’s abstract
- BC Care Aid Registered Number (required)
- Medication Administration Certificate from reputable school (required)
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- Criminal Record Check
- Negative TB test
- First Aid and CPR
- Mandt Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate

**Available weekly schedule for permanent part-time positions**:

- Specific days to be determined - twice a week 9am-3pm and once 9am-2:30pm

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Start Date**:October 15, 2024

**Compensation**: $25.95/hour
