**About us**:
**About the role**:
The Service Group Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery, including managing a small team of tradespeople, coordinating service schedules, ensuring high standards of work, and providing leadership on-site. This individual will be hands-on, highly organized, and customer-focused. In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial heating and energy systems, including fired combustion equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring timely resolution of issues and mínimal downtime for clients.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting procedures are followed.
- Work closely with clients to maintain strong relationships, providing exceptional customer service and handling service requests effectively.
- Manage service contracts and warranties, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and clients receive high-quality service.
- Provide hands-on support to the team on-site when necessary, including troubleshooting and assisting with complex issues.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of service activities, work orders, and inventory management.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Class A & B gas technicians and mechanical technicians to ensure efficient and quality service delivery in the field.
- Ensure the team is properly trained on safety, technical procedures, and customer service best practices.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards
- Assist with project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for service projects.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and create service opportunities, promoting growth within the service division.
- Other duties as assigned

**About you**:

- Trades background (Class A or B Gas Fitter, Millwright) or technologist diploma, engineering degree, or another relevant technical degree.
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience with fired combustion equipment is advantageous.
- Able to travel outside of BC (1-10 times/year) to support service projects and ensure quality standards are met across locations.
- Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Customer focused with the ability to develop and grow new and existing relationships
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple service tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Vancouver, BC V7J 1G4
