We are seeking a Trucking Safety and Compliance Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of our fleet operations.

**Job Overview**:As the Trucking Safety and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety and compliance within our trucking division. You will work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure that our operations adhere to federal, state, and company-specific regulations. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our safety culture and overall performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for drivers and other staff.
- Manage the company's safety program, including safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Monitor and track driver hours of service to ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure the safety of the fleet through regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and trends to provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors during compliance audits.
- Implement and enforce safety and compliance-related disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Continuously assess and improve our safety and compliance programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a safety and compliance role within the trucking or transportation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state trucking regulations, including FMCSA regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer software (MS Office, transportation management systems, etc.).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Director of Safety (CDS) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
