**Description**

Meridian is searching for a full-time, permanent **Residential Leasing Agent** to join our **Team**.

**Your Purpose**

As our Residential Leasing Agent, you will be the cornerstone of our leasing operations, supporting the Property Manager to ensure seamless leasing and renewals of our residential rental portfolio of 500 units. This role provides exemplary customer service to Meridian’s clientele.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Your day will consist of fielding leasing inquiries, drafting rental agreements, handling lease renewals, and conducting unit showings to prospective tenants. You will play a lead role in managing service requests from tenants and provide extraordinary customer service to our clientele as per Meridian standards. In addition, this role provides various administrative tasks as assigned by the Property Manager and is a support to staff on various software platforms.

**How You’ll Succeed**

You have exceptional customer service skills and communicate clearly with others in a wide array of situations. You are highly organized and able to keep track of multiple moving parts while maintaining strong attention to detail. You understand the move in process of tenants and issues that may arise post move in. You take initiative in identifying problems before they happen and find solutions that maintain client satisfaction as top priority.

**What You’ll Need**
- Certificate or diploma in Office Administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a residential leasing role
- Experience working in the construction management industry an asset
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Yardi Breeze and Google
- Extensive customer service experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
