Zen Residential Ltd. is seeking a Community Manager to take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of a dynamic residential portfolio. In this role, you'll be supporting tenants, overseeing leasing and maintenance, and driving operational and financial performance.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the daily operations for your assigned residential portfolio
  • Build strong relationships with tenants by providing prompt, professional, and solution-focused service
  • Oversee leasing processes including new leases, renewals, and move-outs
  • Ensure timely rent collection and address delinquencies proactively
  • Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance with contractors and internal teams
  • Monitor budgets, track expenses, and contribute to financial reporting and performance
  • Maintain property compliance with local laws, company policies, and safety standards
  • Lead community engagement efforts and represent Zen at resident events
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality services are delivered on time
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as required
  • Maintain regular reporting on property performance, maintenance needs, and occupancy

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of property management experience in residential housing (multi-family preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of lease agreements, rent collections, and property compliance
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi) and Microsoft Office
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to lead on-site teams and work cross-functionally
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
