Edmonton, Canada Master Flo Valve Inc MFV Full time

**Work Conditions**:

- Monday to Friday, 8 hours per shift
- **Evening shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm**:

- Work is primarily performed indoors

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all Quality Control / Inspection requirements for Master Flo Valve Inc.
- Duties Include:_
- Perform basic inspection of incoming parts in accordance with relevant purchasing, engineering, and quality requirements
- Inspection of welds and associated supplier certification, calibration, procedural records
- Review of MTRs, NDE, heat treatment and other reports
- Identification, recording, and processing of non-conformances
- Perform hardness testing as required
- Calibration, maintenance, and tracking of measurement devices
- Maintenance of clean working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor or Quality Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical or Materials Engineering Technology Diploma preferred
- 3 to 5 years of machine shop inspection and / or quality control inspection experience, or equivalent Engineering Technology education
- Working knowledge of technical drawing / blueprint reading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with SAP operating system preferred
- A proven commitment to workplace health and safety
- Oil and Gas equipment manufacturing experience is an asset
- CMM operating experience is an asset
- Ability to maintain deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
