As Treatment Coordinator you will work as a team with our dental staff and work closely with the dentist and patients to provide them with the details necessary to make informed decision regarding their case.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome New Patients to the office and conduct New Patients interviews with friendly approach.
- Review Health/Medical History with Patients/Guardian and Update Patients Information and enter all Relevant NP information into the software.
- Determine the Patient Chief of Concerns and Present/Discuss Treatment plan Options.
- Use of X-rays and Pictures to Illustrate the treatment Plan to Patients.
- Review and handle all Financial Information and work with patient to find payment plan if needed.
- Bill Insurance/Collect and receipt payments from patients.
- Send estimates and following up with patients estimates and book treatments as needed.
- Optimize the Schedule efficiency and filling in any opening to meet daily/weekly practice goal and to coordinate patient flow for dentist.
- Interact with insurance companies and confirm dental coverage for patients prior to their appointments.
- Act as a liaison between the doctor and patient.
- Directly contribute the success and profitability of the office through effective treatment coordinating, account follow up, appointment scheduling and lastly account collections and outstanding patient services.
- Adhere to the practice health and safety requirements.

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or CDA or RDH.
- A Minimum 2-3 years of Canadian Dental Treatment Coordinator Experience with at least one year In an administration capacity and knowledge of dental terminology.
- Dental Insurance knowledge is an asset.
- Exceptional Leadership and communication skills of the ability to effectively develop and articulate both short
- and long-term business strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple demands the completing deadlines.
- Initiative-taking and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent analytical skills.
- Strong customer service experience with an ability to build strong relationships.
- Knowledge of Cleardent is an asset.
