**In your role, you will**:

- Perform structural analyses in static, fatigue and damage tolerance with conventional and computer-assisted calculation methods
- Support concept reviews and give recommendations to guide the design group
- Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
- Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components to meet requirementsSupport internal/external design reviews, preliminary/critical design reviews (PDR / CDR) with Product Development Team’s Customers

**Qualifications**:

- You have a University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- You have an experience in metallic primary and secondary structures and their behavior (Fuselage primary structure is an asset).
- Knowledge of CATIA V5, finite element modeling and analysis with NASTRAN/PATRAN.
- General computer skills are essential.
- You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
- You must be able to read and write in English and have good communication skills.
- Having experience on the CRJ platform is an asset
- Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
- Being a member of OIQ is an asset
