**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Become an active JHSC committee member.
- Implement health and safety policies and procedures tailored to agricultural operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Provide training and development programs for staff on health and safety best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, and provincial health and safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Coordinator or similar role, preferably in an agricultural setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to agriculture, trucking and / or retail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively.
- Experience in developing training programs focused on health and safety.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations into incidents.
- Some travel required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
