**Salary**: $2,073.50 to $2,549.41 bi-weekly ($54,118 - $66,539/year)

**Role Responsibilities**:
Do you have a strong background in Sentence Administration and a desire to expand your leadership accountabilities? The Edmonton Remand Centre is looking to fill a vital Sentence Administrator Supervisor position with someone who can lead, train, guide, and mentor a team of Sentence Administrators.

The Sentence Administration Supervisor must have strong knowledge of the judicial system, correctional policies and practices and the legislation that guides decisions made within the area.

Your systematic reasoning will enable you to manage and review the processes within your team and give support to the Chief Sentence Administrator. Your analytical skills will allow you to review documents from court to determine legitimacy of detention and ensure offenders are released as required.

You will also be responsible for:

- Administering sentences handed down from the court.
- Establishing key dates for release planning purposes.
- Guide, support, and develop a team of sentence administrators.
- Liaise with external agencies, working cooperatively with Alberta Justice stakeholders.
- Ensure provincial policy and procedures are followed and identify emerging trends.

**Qualifications**:

- High school Diploma and three years of related experience (Sentence Administrator, Senior Judicial Clerk, Criminal Legal Assistant/Paralegal).

Assets:

- Working knowledge of JOIN, ORCA, EMDT, CPIC.

This position works 36.25 hours per week and involves shift work on a rotational schedule. Overtime may be required.
