Aura on the Lake is located at 233 King Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. We are an Indian cuisine restaurant serving the Niagara region with premiere Indian cuisine. The restaurant features a cozy atmosphere perfect for a casual lunch or special occasion.

The restaurant is seeking to hire cooks that specializes in Indian cuisines. Completion of secondary school is required. Culinary certification/diploma/degree will be a definite asset. Must have a minimum of two years experience in Indian cooking and be well versed with Indian cuisine and cooking terminologies.

Job duties are described below:

- Prepare and cook dishes and foods in a hygienic manner.
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies under guidance from the chef
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Keep kitchen operating smoothly by planning prep and production
- Keep kitchen equipment, fridges, freezers and any other area clean and sanitary
