Submit final grades and maintain communication with the Teacher Education Office or course coordinator, if applicable. **Responsibilities**: You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades. **Qualifications**: - Qualifications (Minimum Required): - Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Fine Arts Education, Curriculum Studies, or a closely related field. - Familiarity with Ontario Grades 1-8 Arts Curriculum (2009) and demonstrated experience teaching Visual Arts at the Primary, Junior, or Intermediate level. - Experience teaching or designing integrated arts programs. - Knowledge of arts-based assessment and digital tools to support visual arts learning in various delivery formats. - Proficiency in inclusive, culturally responsive, and differentiated instruction in visual arts. - Preferred Qualifications / Assets: - Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing (current) or within the last five years. - Specialist’s certificate in Visual Arts or equivalent academic/professional expertise. - Collaborative experience with multi-disciplinary arts teams. - A record of effective teaching performance at the post-secondary or teacher education level.
