We are real estate development and GC company, we develop and construct multi-family buildings and apartments locally. We are currently looking for a Project Estimator for upcoming project. This is a full-time, entry level position:
**Responsibilities**:
Project Estimator) daily duties and responsibilities include:

- Provide support to the Senior Project Team during tendering phase of all projects
- Perform pre-tender site walkthroughs
- Analyze drawings and specifications
- Coordinate tender process with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, etc
- Create and issue quotes/proposal submission documents
- Assist in creating preliminary budgets for all successful tender projects
- Assist with change order pricing
- Other duties as deemed required by the Senior Project Team
- Receive and properly monitor project documentation including change orders, site instructions, engineer/General Contractor (GC) field review reports, deficiency lists, purchase orders, etc.
- Perform site visits when required including attending project site meetings, consultant walkthrough, permit inspections, etc.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management
- Maintain a good relationship with suppliers, consultants, clients and end users
- Work on project closeout activities including monitoring deficiency lists, Operations and Maintenance (OM) Manuals, substantial completion walkthroughs, field project warranty requests, etc.
- Work with Accounting on monitoring and reporting project costs to establish percentage of completion
- Direct Accountant to process and send out project invoicing and statutory declarations (i.e. monthly progress draws, change order charges, consulting invoicing, etc.)
- Work with Accountant to monitor outstanding receivables on a bi-weekly basis
- Communicate with contractors/owners regarding outstanding billables/receivables
- Work with Accountant on new project set-up including job numbers, purchase order amounts, cost estimates, etc.
- Review and categorize billables on a bi-weekly basis

Qualifications & Requirements
- Project Construction Management /Engineering / Estimating diploma or degree
- Knowledge of multi-trade disciplines an asset
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Cost Control: experience working with and adhering to budgets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and to make decisions using sound judgement
- Will offer Training

**Salary**: $50,963.57-$96,315.97 per year
