**Job Requirements**:
**Education**: Degree/Diploma or equivalent

**Experience**: 5 years accounting

**Work Conditions**: Fast paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, large workload, OT may be required,

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Solid working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and practices
- Ability to learn new computer software such as project management, financial software, etc.
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Superior verbal and written communications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving
- Ability to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and fellow team members

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist controller with day-to-day accounting and AR tasks. Journal entry preparation, period closing, monthly financial reporting, WCB remittances, AR invoice processing and collections, etc.
- Cross-train AP/AR and payroll as needed for vacation relief
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors and RAE employees on various matters

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
