This is the description for the Assistant Controller position: a minimum of five years of related accounting experience, as well as accredited accounting courses (CPA). The position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and control of day-to-day accounting activities, and statistical reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Audit financial data within the Company.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support business decisions.
- Assist in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, Bank Deposits, account reconciliation and cash management processes.
- Review accounting policies and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Advise on the credit worthiness of Customers.
- Preparation work and assistance for the year-end audit.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
