Sirius Controls is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. As a leading-edge manufacturer of chemical injection and solar power systems, we drive success through innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Audit financial data within the Company.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, Bank Deposits, account reconciliation and cash management processes.
- Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Review accounting policies and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
- Advise on the credit worthiness of Customers.
- Preparation work and assistance for the year-end audit.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is required.
- Strong budgeting skills and experience in financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various departments.
- Experience with internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance
