**Parks Facilities Coordinator**:
As our Parks Facilities Coordinator you will perform routine maintenance and repair duties, and coordinate projects related to the maintenance and rehabilitation of City-owned facilities. You will also support the department in the development of short and long-term planning related to facilities and assist with critical park facility infrastructure upgrades.

The focus of this position is to ensure that building systems are running efficiently and effectively and coordinating with contractors as required. This is a collaborative position that will support all departments across the City with facilities-related requests and projects.

Qualifications for this position include:

- Post-secondary diploma in building technology or trades certification in carpentry or related field, plus 3 years of project coordination experience (or an equivalent combination)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or facilities management certification is an asset
- Knowledge of park maintenance, development and operating principles including working knowledge of the construction and operation of park and recreation facilities
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair
- A commitment to excellent customer service, continuous improvement, and life-long learning
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- A sense of humour, with the ability to take your work seriously, but not yourself
