**About us**

Smiles by Dr. Najwa Shasha is looking to add a permanent part-time individual to our Team. We are a busy, established Family & Cosmetic practice located in the heart of downtown Aurora. Our software is Dentrix. We adhere to all CDHO, RCDSO, Public Health and IPAC guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- dental reception experience is required
- dental assisting duties: fillings, major restorative procedures, Invisalign, digital x-rays & scanner, intra oral pictures, root canal, extraction & cosmetic cases
- A floater for sterilization as needed, tear down & set up clinical rooms & assist as needed
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Collect payments and provide billing information to patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional dental office environment, providing administrative & clinical support to ensure efficient operations. The Dental Receptionist/Assistant plays a crucial role in creating a positive experience for patients from the moment they enter the office. **Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
