**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.

**Skills**
- Minimum 3-5 year Experience as DA
- Proficiency in **Dental Assisting** techniques and procedures.
- Experience with **Dentrix** or similar dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of **Orthodontics** procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with **Pediatrics** dentistry practices is advantageous.
- Understanding of **Medical Terminology** related to dental health.
- Experience with **Epic** or other electronic health record systems is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks related to **Dental Receptionist** duties when required.
- Familiarity with **CAD** (Computer-Aided Design) technology in dentistry is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week
