**OUR IDEAL RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING QUOTATION SPECIALIST**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Residential Plumbing Quotation Specialist**to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing precise estimates, bids, and proposals for plumbing systems in new construction projects. The Quotation Specialist will work closely with builders, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, competitive bids, and profitability while meeting project specifications and timelines.

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

- 2+ years' experience in plumbing estimating, preferably in new-build residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and installation practices for residential builds.
- Proficiency with blueprint reading and construction documentation.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
- Excellent communication and organizations abilities
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating or construction management software preferred.

And who can manage these responsibilities:

- Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications for new residential construction projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bids for plumbing rough-in, installation, and final fixture work.
- Analyze labour, material, and equipment requirements to create accurate and competitive proposals.
- Work with builders and general contractors to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies in plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain updated material pricing and availability.
- Ensure all estimates align with plumbing codes, builder requirements, and company pricing standards.
- Maintain and update cost databases, labour rates, and supplier pricing for accuracy.
- Submit bids and proposals on schedule, meeting strict builder and contractor deadlines.
- Track awarded and pending projects, maintaining communication with contractors and internal teams.
- Support project managers and field teams by providing clear scope breakdowns and budget details for awarded jobs.
