A woman living in the Oshawa area is looking for a compassionate, mature, and energetic Support Worker. **The position is to cover every other weekend, Saturday & Sunday 5:30pm - 9:30pm. The start date is June 21th.**

You will be assisting the woman with personal hygiene, washroom use, dressing, 1 person transfers, and use of a wheelchair. Provide support with meal prep, light cleaning and bedtime routine.

A weekly schedule will be available to follow. There will be opportunities for additional hours to cover team members shifts. You will be joining a support team and expected to be apart of the team chat to stay connected and receive any updates on the weekly schedule. There is a team coordinator to communicate with.

The woman enjoys venturing out into the community, attending local events, and making new connections. You will be asked to accompany her on public transportation, taxi use or walking to attend activities on weekends if she has plans.

A cat is present in the home.

**Compensation**:$21 per hour to start**

**Key Requirements**:
1. Have valid G Driver’s class license & car

2. Completion of Vulnerable Sector Police check

3. Personal care experience

4. Commit to a weekly schedule/weekend availability

Please include 2 reliable work references. This is a **self-employed, independent support position** directly with the woman.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
