Ajax family looking for a thoughtful and outgoing individual to support their son in his home and community.

This gentleman is very active and requires accompaniment to the gym and to his weekly volunteer commitments. Besides providing assistance for him to fulfill established commitments and maintain his home (e.g. with cleaning/cooking) as needed, you will help him discover and obtain further meaningful engagements and/or volunteer/work opportunities.

This role is best suited for someone who is reliable and who can connect a friendly man with different interests while maintaining a calm and adaptable energy. You should possess a willingness to learn about the person to help guide them towards potential role and life skill development.

Good communication is key. You will follow the lead and direction of the person, their family, and their schedule when supporting participation in established and developing commitments/activities.

**Key Requirements**:

- Valid **G driver’s license **and have own vehicle for transportation to and from activities. Willing to submit a **driver’s abstract **upon request.
- Completion and submission of a **Vulnerable Sector Police Check**:

- Up to date **First Aid/CPR certification**

**Potential Hours**:12 hours per week

**This is a self-employed Independent Support Worker position. This position works directly with a family and all scheduling and training is family lead**
