**Job Title: Social Media Creation, Intern**

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Creation, Intern with a passion for video production and content creation. As an Social Media Creation, Intern, you will play a key role in helping us expand our brand presence on social media by developing engaging short-form videos and content posts. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of current social media trends, video editing, and content marketing.

**Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Collaborate with the social media and marketing team to brainstorm, create, and execute social media content that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
- Produce, edit, and optimize short-form videos for multiple media platforms.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of daily posts across various social media channels, including Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
- Develop content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest new ways to engage our audience.
- Monitor and engage with our audience on social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Assist in tracking social media performance metrics and preparing reports to analyze the effectiveness of content.
- Support the team in other tasks related to creating graphics.
- Experience working with graphics and video editing software, such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar
- All other duties as reasonably assigned
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized or accredited post-secondary institution throughout the duration of the Internship, preferably in Communications, Digital Marketing or other related disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Detail oriented with excessive attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about social media

**Work Location & Conditions**:
This is an office-based job, in Skeena’s Corporate office located in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Monday to Friday schedule. This is a four-month Internship running from January through April, 2025.
