Jewelry Sales Account Executive, West Coast U.S.
**Business Hours**
9am to 6pm PST
**Overview**
The Account Executive builds new customer relationships by adhering to the customer life cycle through prospecting and opening new accounts within an assigned territory. The Account Executive ensures the continuity of loyalty and growth of accounts through customer satisfaction. While partnering with the Brand Development Managers, the Account Executive ensures customer satisfaction and growth to increase product saturation and attains new customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conform to the corporate mission, vision, and values.
- Outbound and cold call to prospective accounts.
- Upsell to current accounts, identify assortment gaps, and ensure that clients are up to date on the latest products.
- Meet individual targets set forth by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Report the existing workloads, progress of assignments, priorities, risks, and issues to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Partner and serve as a support function to the in-field Brand Development Manager.
**Departmental Responsibilities**
- Contribute to customer strategy and improvements to the customer life cycle plan to meet targets set by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Design individual account strategies to increase the level of sales for the accounts.
- Generate new business by prospecting, obtaining referrals, networking, researching, conducting private shows, attending trade shows, and setting up appointments.
- Inform the Brand Development Manager of the credit requirements potential customers must meet.
- Report sales visitation schedule and lead information.
- Conform to and communicate the image of the brand to customers.
- Identify customer needs and maximize upselling and cross selling opportunities.
- Stay updated on presentation skills and selling products, programs, and added values to the customers.
- Track the customers through the customer life cycle plan and distribute appropriate materials to customers.
- Participate in private and industry shows and oversee the process from customer invitations through customer satisfaction and order entry.
- Invite customers to the showroom and report invitations to the Brand Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager.
- Support customers by handling and resolving all customer requests.
- Partner with Brand Development Managers by entering orders and streamlining information about their accounts, finding new opportunities, and growing sales by adding new divisions.
- Store, analyze, and respond to other departments’ queries on documentation of or information on old, existing, and new accounts.
- Provide feedback to management on customer satisfaction, product quality, and program and campaign acceptance.
- Work with clients in the NY Showroom.
- Create proposals, sales reports, and account analysis.
- Perform special duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, marketing, and/or equivalent experience. Inside Sales experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting, and/or telemarketing.
- Experience in writing logical, detailed, and complete reports on account performance.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
