**Position Title: Projects Coordinator**

**Team and Location: Supply, Trading & Refining (STaR) - Burnaby, BC**

**Position Summary**:
As a member of the Sustaining Capital Projects team, you will play an important role in the development and execution of all sustaining capital projects. The Projects Coordinator will work closely with the Project Managers and Designs Engineers to plan and execute our portfolio of sustaining capital projects at the Burnaby Refinery. The individual will handle key administrative and project coordination tasks to facilitate the efficient planning and execution of approved projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Engineering Work Requests database for the purpose of screening, reviewing, and approving new projects.
- Coordinate key project meetings such as SRCM.
- Coordinate Management of Change for simple projects including the pre-startup safety review process.
- Coordinate issuing and tracking approvals for deviations from our engineering practices and project closeout tasks including submitting add/change/delete documentation for spare parts inventorying.
- Ensure filing of key process safety information in the Engineering Documents Management System (EDMS).
- Setup projects in the Engineering Documents Management System (EDMS) and stewarding IFR (issued for review) and IFA (issued for approval) documentation through the appropriate review workflows. Administer contractor access to the EDMS system for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 2 - 5 years of working experience as a Projects Coordinator in an Engineering Firm or Construction Firm setting.
- Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft software such as MS-Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel.
- Proficient knowledge of database software such as MS-Access or Power BI or Hexagon.
- Project Management training or PMP designation is preferred.
- Previous experience with Management of Change is preferred
