** Ignite Technical Resources **is looking for a
**Finance Product Manager **for a
**full-time opportunity.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures alignment with ISC, VPFO and company’s vision, goals, policies and practices.
- Leads the overall technical management regarding the Workday Finance product delivery and sustainment within the ISC.
- Development and implementation of the Workday Finance module vision and strategic direction including system specific strategies, tactical plans and initiatives
- Determines priorities of incident resolution and backlog of issues by identifying problems and root causes and recommends countermeasures when metrics are not met.
- Responsible for ensuring company’s ERP system (Workday) is in compliance with statutory, contractual, and fiscal payroll and benefits obligations.
- Advocates for and ensures alignment with company's data governance framework, privacy and information security practices.
- Provides leadership by researching and developing financial operations and reporting methodologies to meet changing reporting needs and by assessing and providing input into how changes should be reflected in financial operations and processes.
- Anticipates and analyzes trends in technology and assesses the impact of emerging technologies on the business.
- Develops influential working relationships across the organization, including internal and external key customers and stakeholders.
- Working directly with financial Leadership and Managers across the company to translate short
- and long-term strategic Finance requirements into operational plans and roadmap for the continuous enhancement of the Workday Finance modules, and leads ongoing and future finance Workday enhancements.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of the CPA accounting program. (CA, CGA, or CMA)
- 8+ yrs of Product Management experience including at least two years of managerial experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of general and specialized finance functions.
- Working knowledge of financial management products preferably within higher education environments.
- Demonstrated technical, generalist knowledge in all aspects of finance practices and processes.
- Proven record of identifying and delivering continuous improvement across a complex organization.
- Demonstrated competence leading product teams in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments (academic environments an asset).

**Nice to have**:

- Previous experience in the design and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformational projects is an asset.
- Experience working with Workday or COTS project management is an asset.
- Experience working in an academic environment is preferred.
