**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings and screening resumes
- Ability to work closely with the General Manager when Terminating Staff
- Maintain accurate employee records and perform data entry tasks to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and control of Employee Vacation and Sick Time
- Employee Payroll hour verification with ADP
- Maintain and Control Employee Uniforms and Equipment
- Receipt Tracking for Accountant
- Department of Justice Licence Renewals and yearly Renewals
- Document Tracking and Control of PR Status for Employees
- Collaborate with the CFO to assist with training programs and materials for employee onboarding and professional development.
- Facilitate communication regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee inquiries.
- Additional Administrative / Financial tasks assigned by the CFO or General Manager
**Experience**
- Must have English as your First Language
- Must be able to pass a Criminal and Credit Background Check
- Must be able to obtain a Nova Scotia Department of Justice Security Clearance
- Previous experience in a human resources role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with recruiting processes and talent acquisition strategies is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
