**What to expect**:
The Manager, NDT Certification Body is responsible to lead a team of technical and administrative professionals delivering non-destructive testing (NDT) certification services to individuals primarily in the domestic market in an efficient and effective manner.

In the first year, the incumbent will have the responsibility to conceptualize, plan, develop and execute on the needed certification business processes and infrastructure. This includes completing the necessary work to achieve the required accreditations and build a network of partners to support examination delivery, leading to the launch of a new NDT Certification Body (NDT CB) service line to industry.

After the business infrastructures has been established, the Manager, NDT Certification Body is responsible for the development, oversight, and execution of the NTD CB operational plan in alignment with the corporate strategy. This position requires the incumbent to develop industry and service partner relationships (15%), lead, support and nurture the departmental team as they deliver NDT certification services (70%). The Manager, NDT Certification Body will also have the responsibility to establish and manage operating plans, resource plans, budgets, and other administrative duties (15%).

This includes:
**Industry and Partner Relationships**
- Build relationships with key industry leaders to understand their needs, both through in person and remote communication.
- Gather market insights to continuously improve service offerings.
- Manage partnerships to ensure certification services delivery meets client expectations.
- Develop relationships with potential new partners (e.g., training providers, examination centres) to support the growth of the NDT CB service line.
- Represent both organizational and national interests at various codes & standards committees and industry committees.

**Operational Oversight**
- Establish and ensure the implementation of effective and efficient service delivery processes.
- Establish and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of NDT CB services.

**Team Management**
- Hold all staff and contractors accountable for performance and behaviours, coaching and mentoring as required.
- Collaborates across the CWB Group to support corporate strategy.
- Coaches, develops direct reports, and supports career development.
- Ensure compliance with CWB Group OH&S program and policies within their department.
- Ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of certification services.

**Administration**
- Establish and manage operating plans, resource plans, and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to the organization’s policies, procedures, quality program and accreditation requirements.
- Analyze market and operational metrics to identify opportunities and potential improvements.
- Support domestic growth strategy by providing insights, gathering market intelligence, and executing strategic initiatives.
- Provide recommendations and market analysis on future growth in untapped or underdeveloped industry verticals or geographic areas.
- Ensure administrative functions are executed in partnership with the Operational Support & Execution team and direct reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Vice President, Certification and primarily works remotely from their home office in Canada. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. **What you bring to the table**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with several individuals.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant degree or diploma
- Equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience:

- Conceptualizing, developing, planning, executing new business infrastructure, process, and operations.
- Leading a team
- Working in NDT industry
