The Wicklow Pub in Vancouver is looking for a positive, hospitality driven leader to guide its team to the next level of success. Founded in the early 1980s as Stamps Landing Neighbourhood Pub, The Wicklow has been a neighbourhood meeting place and South False Creek destination for over four decades. Family owned, we have two pubs and a liquor store, where many of our team members have been with us for 5-10 years.

We are seeking a dynamic, friendly, and energetic person, who possesses a strong attention to detail, and wants to deliver the highest level of hospitality to our guests. You will be a person who leads and explains in a kind and optimistic manner. A passion for food and beverage is a must, and you will be knowledgeable on the latest beverage/cocktail and culinary trends. You will work closely with the culinary and service teams, and ownership to execute the best hospitality possible - from greeting guests, to thanking the patrons as they leave, and every step in between.

This position is well suited to an individual who wants to help grow the business and its revenue, and in turn, share in that success, and grow as we grow.

Managing a neighbourhood pub means that you are the ultimate multi-tasker, and includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

- **Operational Management**: oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high quality food and beverages
- **Staff Management**: recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- **Inventory and Supplies**: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels
- **Customer Service**: Ensure a positive guest experience, know the community, and resolve customer complaints if necessary
- **Marketing and Events**: Develop strategies to increase sales and host group events
- **Legal Compliance**: Ensure adherence to licensing laws and health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Experience in hospitality management, preferably in a pub or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of inventory management and financial reporting
- A willingness to learn new skills if necessary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
