The Park Pub is looking for an energetic Assistant Manager who is an enthusiastic leader with a passion for sports and craft beer. Located steps away from English Bay, the pub is known for its sports bar theme, great food and service. We are looking for a team leader with good communication skills and creativity to continue to grow the business. The Park's football pool has over 200 members. The Park Pub is part of the Best Western Plus Sands and includes employee pricing on Best Western hotel rooms world wide. The Assistant Manager position also includes Gratuities, Benefits and Parking.

**Responsibilities**:
Efficiently assist in managing and schedule a team of 25 to ensure the business' needs are met

Work directly with General Manager and Marketing Team to successfully execute events and programs

Interact with customers during managing shifts or as a server or bartender to ensure our high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

Recruit and train staff, this includes supporting the General Manager in staff meetings to inform and motivate the team. Monitor profitability and performance of the pub.

Maintain strong relationships with members of the local community

Manage 24 tap craft beer program (this includes working closely with reps, selecting beers for the rotating tap list and throwing sponsored events)

Helping book and oversee the Park's private room The Show Cellar and the Breezeway Patio Bar

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
