**Job description**
- Nella Toronto is looking to hire an experienced Shipping Coordinator Assistant for our North York head office._

**Responsibilities**:

- General filing/administrative duties (paperwork, invoices, orders, etc.)
- Filing claims for Freight orders shipped third party (responsible for following up on damages, money back, etc.)
- Prints paperwork orders; this includes assigning serial numbers to the correct units and cross-referencing with inventory department for accuracy/error
- Track shipments for salespeople and e-commerce department
- Movement and transfer of paperwork between departments and people
- Determine the method of shipment and arrange for carrier’s pick-up, prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation manually or by computer.
- Ensure all necessary internal contacts are aware of situation and recommended course of action to resolve.
- React quickly to changing circumstances to ensure delivery to the customer involving all key internal and external contacts.
- Maintain effective customer focused relationships with internal and external contacts including Carriers, Shipping, Customer Service.
- Respond to all inquiries related to order processing documentation providing follow up on missing invoices and payments.
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous work experience in shipping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Ability to resolve carrier issues and to respond quickly to customer delivery expectations.
- High attention to detail, with good organization skills to prioritize work load and achieve daily objectives.
- Good verbal communication skills, to constructively deal with carriers and competing internal customer demands, ability to assertively influence others to follow a course of action without formal authority to do so.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
