OpenText is seeking an Executive Assistant, who will be responsible for providing a broad variety of administrative tasks to support the OpenText Chair and the OpenText CEO. Reporting directly to the CEO, the purpose of the role is to ensure effective and smooth management of OpenText’s top executive’s day-to-day affairs. This role will range widely in duties such as arranging travel plans, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations/correspondence as well as coordination and project management tasks as needed. The ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing and competing priorities is a must. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Manage sensitive records and information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Assist with coordination of calendars, organizing meetings, assessing priority of appointment and reallocation as necessary with internal associates and external contacts at all levels of seniority.
- Coordinate travel arrangements coordinating Visas, logistics and itineraries as well as reconciling and processing travel expenses according to company guidelines.
- Schedule internal and external meetings, coordinating all logistics and details, providing relevant preparation materials, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Screen, direct, respond to, and prioritize calls and correspondence, facilitating the smooth exchange of information as a first point of contact for local executive suite.
- Complete expense reports for reimbursement and coordinate the payment of invoices. Liaise with Purchasing to create, review and allocate to ensure proper tracking of purchase orders.
- Build effective relationships with interna/external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Plan, organize and coordinate special events and activities as required. Provide support and project management for a range of initiatives in which the CEO plays a lead role.
- Provide back up support to CEO’s Executive Assistant.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Minimum 15 years’ experience providing administrative support, preferably to a C-level executive and team.
- Post-Secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to be flexible and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, in person and over the phone.
- High degree of professional integrity and sound judgement, discretion, professionalism, and extreme confidentiality are essential.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and across teams and functions.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to solve it right the first time.
- Creative problem-solving skills.- Subject to applicable laws and regulations, OpenText’s global vaccination policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter an OpenText office. Accommodations may be available for specific roles.
