**SHIPPING AND RECIEVING**

FarmAnywhere seeking a full-time Shipping and Recieving. In this position, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks. If you want to learn a trade, enjoy working with your hands and are interested in building vertical farms in shipping containers, then this may be your perfect opportunity.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE**
- Understand and comply with all company policy, procedures and operations Receiving/Shipping - Processing deliveries and Transfers
- Maintain an organized stockroom/off-site area / warehouse (Shop)
- Supply various work stations and supervise the use of the products and materials by workers in the shop.
- Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the warehouse
- Recognize problems, analyze causes, generate alternatives and solutions
- Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Promote and strive for attention to details and cleanliness.
- Must maintain accuracy on all measures. You are expected to maintain this accuracy level in both units measured and jobs measured.
- Break down all required materials for successful first-time completion of all jobs measured.
- **Driving a Forklift will be an added advantage.**:

**WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON**
- 2+ years of Shipping and Receiving is an asset.
- Drivers Licence
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Highly organized and accurate.
- Exceptional analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail while performing accurate measurements in a time sensitive environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well in a changing environment.
- Cleanliness and being organized is a key asset.
- Conciseness of its surroundings.

FarmAnywhere is an AG Tech company specializing in converting shipping containers into independent, hyper-local vertical farms. Our farms can be built to be off grid using leading-edge solar power and are intended to be used in both remote communities and large-scale facilities located in urban areas. Our goal is to help move the needle in sustainable food security locally and globally.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour paid weekly

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
