Shipping/receiving Coordinator

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)**:
As a Shipping and receiving coordinator, you will pick shipments, prepare shipping documents, set up freight appointments, load and unload trucks etc. Must follow high regard for workplace safety rules. Must be able to perform and assist with day-to-day duties of Shipper/Receiver when required. Issue purchase orders and receive raw materials in Globe. Follow up with suppliers on open PO’s and perform duties with speed and precision. Any other duties as assigned by Shipper/Receiver, Plant Manager or Management.
- Prepare shipping paperwork (BOL, Packing List, Commercial Invoice).
- Help to order pick. Load and unload trucks and log shipments in the shipping logbook or the receiving logbook.
- Checking verifying incoming raw materials and outgoing product qty, inform to shipper/ QC if any issue.
- Call freight carriers for freight quotes and arrange shipping appointment for pick up.
- Issue PO based on Material Requisition Form.
- Match supplier invoices against product received and verify that the price and quantity are correct. Send processed invoices to Purchasing department and Logistics Manager for approval.
- Once orders have shipped, fulfill shipments in Globe. Provide shipping paperwork to Order Entry for invoicing

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications)**:

- Education Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 1-2 years of working experience in shipping, manufacturing
- Familiar with MS Office and fast data entry and typing speed
- Forklift certification with loading and unloading experience
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
