**Responsibilities**:

- Answer client calls in a timely and professional manner
- Provide effective solutions to clients in an effort to resolve their issues
- Troubleshoot technical problems and to determine the root cause
- Provide off-site visits on an as-needed basis
- Keep a record of every call and resolution
- Maintain devices up-to-date
- Automate tasks
- Design and implement network changes

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Products, such as Windows, Server, AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS.
- Proficiency with network troubleshooting, and skill knowledge of protocols such as DHCP, SNMP, TCPIP, routers, switches, WIFI, Access points, firewall etc.
- Good to have knowledge of web development technologies, coding and debugging.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a high level of service to clients
- Highly professional phone and in-person etiquette
- Strong communication, written and verbal English language skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work well independently and within a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to upgrade professional skills and competence

**Required Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education and minimum 3-5 years working experience in IT support
- A+ certification is an asset
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, printers and WIFI routers
- **Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle required**

**Wages**:
**Job Type**: Contract for 1 year with possible extension

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- JavaScript: 5 years (preferred)

- Active Directory: 3 years (required)
