**Dealer & Contractor Sales Representative — Western Canada** Help us grow dealer sell-through and elevate contractor success across Western Canada. You’ll be the face of ROMEX in the field—training dealers, enabling contractors, and driving territory growth with data, demos, and rock-solid follow-through. **What you’ll do** - Build & grow dealer & distributor partnerships: Regular onsite visits, staff training, merchandising displays, joint events, and feedback on inventory/promotions to drive sell-through. - Enable contractors: Prospect and onboard new contractors; run Lunch & Learns, field demos, and on-site technical support; maintain a roster of trained ROMEX installers and connect them to opportunities. - Own the pipeline: Hit monthly/quarterly/annual targets; log clean CRM activity; collaborate with Marketing/A&D on campaigns, tradeshows, and regional plans to grow awareness, sales & revenue. - Drive accountability in your market: stay current on market trends & competitor activity, participate in sales reviews and training sessions and provide actionable field feedback through regular 1:1 meetings. **What you bring** - Experience: 5+ years B2B sales, including 3+ years managing dealer accounts (construction/landscape materials). - Minimum 2 years’ landscape construction knowledge (hardscape/permeable systems/stormwater). - Tools & travel: Strong presentation/relationship skills, Microsoft 365 + CRM proficiency, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel across Western Canada. - Understanding of jobsite and product safety requirements & standards, current WHMIS certification. **Nice to haves** - Diploma or degree in Business, Landscape Technology - Specs & submittals literacy**: reading drawings/take-offs, writing basic product submittals; understanding QA/QC, warranties, and mock-up requirements. - Industry Association memberships & other professional networks **How success is measured** - Activity & enablement: ~20 dealer visits/quarter; 15 dealer trainings & 25 demos/Lunch & Learns annually; weekly CRM hygiene. - Growth: New contractor activations and territory sales growth vs. target. - **Connector + Closer**: Socially poised, comfortable leading conversations, and skilled at influencing dealer and contractor decisions—while staying consultative and service-oriented. - **Pace & ownership**: Thrives in a fast-moving, on-the-road role with lots of variety; self-directed, proactive, and energized by building new relationships and markets. - **Detail & follow-through**: Balances charisma with discipline—accurate product knowledge, clean CRM notes, tight post-visit follow-ups, and reliable forecasting. - **Team fit**: Collaborates well with Marketing/A&D and peers; open to feedback and data; eager to share field intel that sharpens campaigns and inventory planning. **Why ROMEX** Join a growth-minded team, represent an innovative product portfolio, and make visible impact across a high-potential region—backed by training, national sales support, and competitive compensation/travel allowances. **Ready to build the West with ROMEX?** Send your resume + a brief note on what makes you a great fit for this position and the growing team at Romex. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company car - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Work from home Application question(s): - How many years of sales experience do you have? - After reading about what a "great fit" for this position looks like, let us know why you're an amazing choice to join our growing team and rep the ROMEX brand.
