Rise Health, located in the beautiful Fernwood community, is looking for a Part-time Receptionist

Typical shifts could include:
Monday - Wednesday 430pm - 830pm

Thursday - Friday 830am - 1230pm

Possibility of some Friday evenings and Saturdays

We are a warm and friendly multidisciplinary health care clinic looking for a reliable and punctual, well organized with good attention to detail, caring and patient receptionist to join our large team of professionals.
- have an exceptionally friendly and professional manner with patients and fellow team members
- solution oriented with the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with patience and understanding
- have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with an extremely high level of detail and accuracy
- be a self starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player and contribute to our office culture in a positive manner
- have computer and good organizational skills
- interest in healthcare and/or experience with some of the services that we offer
- Experience with JaneApp, Direct Billing would be beneficial, but not essential

**Some duties include**:

- supporting effective communication between other admin staff and practitioners
- answering and directing a high volume of phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- dispensing of naturopathic medicine supplements
- scheduling patient appointments, over the phone and in person
- collecting and processing payments
- photocopying, scanning, and faxing of confidential documents
- faxing referrals and prescriptions to the appropriate location and scanning faxes/paperwork into the appropriate patient chart
- accurate health records management
- providing excellent and supportive client service
- contacting medical offices to follow up on referrals for appointments and consult notes
- reconciling payments and daily transactions
- submitting claims and corresponding with private health benefits
- variety of other clerical, reception, and general light cleaning duties including laundry
- receiving of shipments and restocking of clinic supplies

**Schedule / Wage / Start Date**:
Typical shifts could include:
Monday - Wednesday 430pm - 830pm

Thursday - Friday 830am - 1230pm

Possibility of some Friday evenings and Saturdays

Wage is negotiable based on experience.

Start date as soon as possible.
