- Establish, implement, and enforce kitchen policies and procedures.
- Write menus that meet cost structure of operation
- Plan, organize, direct, and supervise the activities of the kitchen to ensure high quality food service.
- Purchase and receive all supplies necessary for daily meal preparation, and special events.
- Develop and ensure the use of standardized recipes. Oversee meal preparation and participate in preparation. Supervise meal service to ensure appropriate portion control and member acceptance.
- Train cooks, post schedule. Monitor work flow, evaluate performance and production to make necessary changes.
- Follow up with residents regarding dietary restrictions, allergies, and food preferences.
- Ensure sanitation regulations pertaining to food preparation.
- Conduct monthly inventory.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records pertaining to each resident’s nutritional care.
- Ensure all public health reports are communicated to staff and acted upon.

Pay: $60,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
