**About the role**

We’re looking for a **Growth** **Marketing Specialist, Lending**who can work in collaboration with the Lending team (mortgages, lines-of-credit, and loans) to determine product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to drive business results. You thrive on connecting with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing initiatives that increase acquisition of new products and promote lifecycle engagement to deepen relationships. Succeeding in this role will mean understanding our products, our members, and levers for growth while executing our marketing strategy and tactics.

This is a permanent, full-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. You’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events at least once a month.

This role will be reporting into the Growth Marketing Manager of Lending.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Managing Lending marketing campaigns and projects from start to finish, including gathering member insights, developing briefs, coordinating creative asset development, defining the channel strategy, and overseeing budgets, timelines, feedback, and approvals, ensuring efficient and accurate launches.
- Collaborating with our marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute strategies that successfully meet business objectives and advancement of our impact priorities.
- Leveraging your analytical skill set to provide weekly and monthly reporting against short-term and long-term KPIs, while connecting results to opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and presenting succinct post-mortem analysis on the success of campaigns and opportunities for improvement.
- Use member and product insights to refine target markets, special promotions, and simplify value propositions with the objective of getting the right message to the right person, at the right time.
- Enabling branches, member support, and other internal teams to tell a compelling story about our product benefits.
- Managing multiple high-priority projects in a deadline and data-driven environment.
- Working both independently and with the team, relying on strong influencing and presentation skills to achieve results.

**You have**:

- University Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
- 2-5 years of professional experience in Marketing (preferably in the financial services sector).
- Superior knowledge of Marketing strategy, delivery and all elements of the marketing mix.
- Strong skills in marketing analytics and the ability to assign KPIs to marketing and business goals.
- Story-telling and presentation skills.
- Strong skills influencing, and leading team interactions to gain alignment.
- Resourceful, self-starter, and proactive to finding new opportunities.
- Personable, collaborative relationship builder
- Enthusiastic and excited about Vancity’s community impact
