**Your Role as a Floor Supervisor**:
Guest Experience: You'll be the face of our winery, ensuring every guest feels welcome, heard, and satisfied. Your genuine smile and exceptional service will leave a lasting impression.

Order Accuracy: Taking wine orders with precision. Attention to detail is key

Wine Knowledge: Help customers select wine through romancing and knowledge of the menu; making suggesting when necessary.

Team Player: Collaborate seamlessly with your fellow tasting room associates and management to create a harmonious experience.

Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and team.

As a Cannon Estate Winery floor supervisor, you are responsible for positive guest interactions while taking orders in a friendly and efficient manner. This position plays a role in creating and providing an outstanding level of customer experience and satisfaction. Therefore, as a floor supervisor, it is essential that you maintain an energetic, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times. Floor supervisors are expected to be attentive to our guests’ needs making them feel welcome and comfortable. Since guest satisfaction plays a key role at our winery, supervisors are also responsible for checking on customers to ensure that they are enjoying their experience and take initiative and action to correct any problems.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Supervision of the lounge FOH employees
- Working in our on-site lounge, Calibre by Canon as well as in the picnic area
- Hosting wine tastings, sharing our story, wines and vineyard
- Learn and present wine product tasting notes to customers from both winery labels
- Serve Customers
- Receive and process orders from customers, data entry, invoicing, and credit card transactions on POS system; collect and provide change for cash transactions as required
- Check inventory and coordinate with the Lounge Manager for product availability
- Pick and package wine orders purchased by customers
- Exercises due diligence to maintain the accuracy of customer transactions
- Cleaning duties of lounge as well as picnic areas
- Opening and closing responsibilities

**Qualifications**
- Serving It Right
- Ability to work in a regulated facility serving wine and pass Criminal Record Verification
- Ability to carry a case of wine ~ 14.5 kg (31.2 lbs)
- Dependable and punctual
- Confident and motivated
- A passion for wine and educating others on it
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- WSET training is considered an asset but not required
