- How your role will add to the story:

- We’re looking for a Sales Steering and Incentives Intern. You will be expected to contribute to the operational efficiency of the National Sales department by supporting various tasks within the Sales Steering team. You’ll also be working on a wide range of projects and initiatives, gaining real-world experience in sales operations, competitive intelligence and market support topics. You will report directly to Manager, Sales Steering, and will also have the opportunity to work with various teams in the across the Mercedes-Benz Canada regions, internal National Sales colleagues, and internal stakeholders.
- A day in the life- On most days you’ll be responsible for collecting data points for market intelligence topics, such as competitor data, registration data, internal sales data and several other touchpoints that function to the market support and sales steering topic
- Some days you will support the sales steering team on discussion and topics such as dealer targets and KPI tracking
- We need your creativity in order to prepare management presentations
- You will have the chance to analyze different fields of the sales department and provide recommendations through advanced analytics and data touchpoints
- Some days you’ll run adhoc inquiries and provide administrative support such as data extraction, generating and distributing standardized reports
- You will be involved in liaising with regional and HQ teams for prioritizing key market topics such as claims and margin program support
- In addition, we always have many interesting projects within sales steering where you have a great opportunity to enhance your business knowledge
- Currently we are under a hybrid working model and expect you to be in the office 1 day or 2 days per week, or whenever the in person meetings are necessary.

- Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:

- Recent graduate or working towards a post
- secondary degree/diploma with preference to Data Science, Business Management or Finance- Available for one-year (starting immediately)
- Attention to details, adaptable and strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- PowerBI experience or knowledge is a bonus
- Must be able to attend in-person meetings at least once a week
- Ability to translate documentation into French is a bonus
