**Position Summary**

The Warehouse & Purchasing Manager is responsible to achieve and maintain operational excellence within the department, ensuring that the expectations of customers (both internal and external) are always exceeded. Maintains parts, consumable and equipment inventory across business organization.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of the CEO, the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse & Purchasing Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Utilize company ERP to manage multi-facility inventory par levels
- Coordinate with Regional Managers to maintain inventory and achieve all fulfilment needs
- Coordinate with Regional Managers to maintain inventory and achieve all fulfilment needs
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures;
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols;
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system;
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement;
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions;
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results;
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Post Secondary education in related field; or comparable industry experience;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Accountable and dependable;
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently;
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work;
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic; and
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Possess or attain fork lift / lift truck / reach license.
- Work within company ERP

**Working Conditions**
- Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours;
- Able to work on a computer for long periods of time;
- Required to work in a busy, open area which may result in constant interruptions;
- Required to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
- Will be required to work weekends on occasion to complete inventory.
- Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
