**Qualifications**:

- Procurement Experience in a warehousing industry / 3 PL / Transportation
- Demonstrated project management skills; well organized, attentive to details
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly
- Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
- Ability to execute and prioritize tasks; Commitment to Tasks
- Negotiation skills and vendor grading techniques
- TQM/RFP/RFQ

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, manage and support contract negotiations with suppliers. Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality and delivery targets are met
- Negotiate return agreements including re-stocking charges with main vendors
- Lead business review meetings with senior management to assess risk, review future strategies and identify potential cost reduction and improvement opportunities
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all standards and procedures. Effectively manage purchasing strategies across the company
- Create outsourcing purchase orders as required by facilities
- Manage outsourcing schedule in coordination with the warehouse team and manage the outsourcing vendors
- Responsible for Price negotiations. Verify, update and input pricing, on outsourcing purchase orders, using pre-determined price lists or outsourcing pricing tool
- Ensure accurate quantity physically received matches packing slip receipt quantity
- Collaborate with warehouse and facility managers to ensure optimum inventory levels and all timelines are met to ensure all orders ship by promised dates
- Ensure monitoring of supply and demand and that issuing of purchase orders to vendors is completed in a timely manner to ensure orders ship on time
- Ensure the proper communication for available inventory (ATP) & ETA dates
- Ensure reporting of shipment discrepancies to vendors based upon information provided by the receiving department
- Ensure invoices are sent to accounts for payment; Work with Finance department to reconcile Vendor invoice discrepancies
- Manage any procurement activities including RFP’s (Request for Proposals)
- Liaise with the facility managers to ensure that all goods delivered to the organization are in excellent condition
- Record the quality, quantity, type, style, and any other characteristic of goods that the organization holds in inventory to give the rest of the management team a clear picture of what the organization has and what it needs
- Do vendor grading, negotiate, and close contracts by getting rebates, discounts, discount on payment terms
- Review yearly on spending and reduce cost where possible year over year
