Experienced Tutor-mentors in Winnipeg **( Must have ASD experience )**
Join TutorBright as a Tutor-Mentor, guiding K-12 and university students on a journey of learning and discovery. This part-time opportunity lets you shape your schedule and connect with students in home all while making a positive impact on their academic journey.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct personalized tutoring sessions
- Be a mentor and role model, inspiring students to overcome challenges and discover their passion for academics.
- Adapt teaching strategies to individual learning styles and needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Subject matter expertise
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work in-home.
- Located in **Winnipeg** (preferably in the South East of the city)
- Reliable transportation.
- Current or willingness to obtain a vulnerable sector police check.
- **Autism Experience**
**Additional Assets**:
- Graduate in B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Math.
