**In-home Tutor-Mentor Position (West Winnipeg)**

If you love to teach or have a passion for working with people, **TutorBright **is offering positions as Tutor-Mentors of all specialties for students from K-12 and university courses. This is a part-time employment opportunity that allows you to connect online with students and create your own schedule that meshes perfectly with your life and brings your passion for learning to your student’s world. We are looking for upper level Math and Science tutors who are enrolled or have completed schooling in any science faculty, engineering, pre-professional faculty, accounting or math related departments.

**TutorBright **has an influx of students looking for a strong mentor and role model to help work 1 on 1 to develop the same passion for academics you have. Students have not had the same access to quality learning due to online school and the Pandemic - join our team to help make meaningful impacts in these student’s lives

At **TutorBright**, we offer unparalleled support for you - the tutor - in terms of acquiring resources and strategies to use with their students. TutorBright will provide you with lesson resources, 7-day a week office support, and all the tools you need for you and your students to be successful with us.

**Hourly base rates start at 24$/h**

Hours: 1-8 a week on average

Flexible to accommodate your availability - you get to pick each student you work with

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Must be able to work in-home
- Must be located in West Winnipeg
- Possess great communication skills
- Consistent method of transportation
- Current or willingness to get a vulnerable sector police check
- Must be able to tutor upper level Math and/or Science

Additional Assets:

- Enrolled in / completed a Bachelor's program with good academic standing
- Graduate or enrolled in B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Math
- Certified Teacher
