**Overview**: Jerry’s Transport Limited (JTL) is seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to join our growing team. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day activities, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a positive and accountable workplace culture. This role is responsible for managing operations across all business lines, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and providing support across multiple departments, including fleet and dispatch operations.

**Responsibilities**

**Management**
- Foster and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Provide clear communication across departments and with team members.
- Ensure operational organization and maintain accurate and timely records.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and ensure regular feedback for team members.
- Hold staff accountable for daily, weekly, and long-term tasks and goals.
- Work closely with office staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate daily plans across all lines of business and communicate expectations clearly.

**Operational Oversight**
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and complete all required reports and documentation.
- Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and operations.
- Ensure all trailers are equipped with required gear and are road-ready.
- Provide oversight to annual safety procedures.
- Support highway dispatch activities and driver coordination.
- Enter driver pay data for designated personnel.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the fleet, including routing, scheduling, and dispatch.
- Implement and enforce operational procedures to drive efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure full compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
- Provide support to other operational areas as required.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with professional and positive communication that reflects the values of the family and business.
- Experience with TruckMate or similar logistics/dispatch software is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of transportation and fleet operations is an advantage.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
